Ray Davies by Chuck Sperry
Goldenvoice #82 , Ray Davies in Concert at the Warfield in SF, Chuck Sperry has nailed another beauty
"Ray Davies brought the choir to The Warfield tonight – he also brought his anarchic sense of humor and brought down the house.
Saying this was a good show is an understatement.
-
I noticed that Ray Davies used a William Blake illustration for the cover of his latest album featuring choral arrangements of his favorite songs, so I’m paying homage with this poster, using William Blake art from his worked entitled, “Ancient of Days.” I used a heavy metallic silver and tinted it with translucent layers of color on black paper. This poster shines.
William Blake (28 November 1757 – 12 August 1827) was an English Poet. painter, and printmaker. Largely unrecognised during his lifetime, Blake is now considered a seminal figure in the history of both the poetry and visual arts of the Romantic Age."

THe King Of Crabs Claims His Throne BY Tim Doyle
Dont Start Believing by Justin Santora
"For those of you who are familiar with the recent narrative print series, this is somewhat of a follow up or postlogue to it. The composition consists of a man stopping in his tracks to observe something he sees while walking home. Or at least that's what I see going on here. It is 20x26", 7 screens on a beautiful off-white cover. Like all my work, this print was done entirely by hand. Edition of 35, signed and numbered." |
